The IRS recently came out with new information concerning the changes made to the first-time homebuyer credit under the Worker, Homeownership, and Business Assistance Act of 2009. The IRS says taxpayers who claim the first-time homebuyer credit on their 2009 returns will not be able to e-file the return. Taxpayers will have to file a paper return to claim the credit.
