The Deluxe Edition is great for tax preparers who are primarily focused on individual returns with a secondary focus on small business taxation. Because the Deluxe Edition contains all the information that is present in the 1040 Edition, our customers commonly order a copy of the Deluxe Edition for each tax preparer in the office. In addition to 1040 information, the Deluxe Edition provides answers about partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, LLCs, and payroll, as well as other business issues.
How many 1040 Editions do I need?
Because of the frequency of reference, offices usually have either the 1040 Edition or the Deluxe Edition (which contains the same information as the 1040 Edition) on the desk of every preparer. Customers who prefer the separate Small Business Edition may choose to order a 1040 Edition for each preparer in the office, with the number of Small Business Editions depending on how many individuals will be seeking answers to questions about partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, LLCs, and payroll, as well as other business issues.
How many Small Business Editions do I need?
Our customers generally order one copy of the Small Business Edition for each tax preparer who has a primary focus on small business returns, to be used in conjunction with the 1040 Edition. If the firm is focused mostly on individual returns, each preparer can have a 1040 Edition at his or her desk, with a smaller number of Small Business Editions to be shared throughout the office. Considering the modest price, and the frequency of small business-related questions that arise even with individual returns, we recommend making sure that enough Small Business Editions are orderd to ensure immediate availability whenever a tax preparer needs to use the shared resource.
How many All States Editions do I need?
One copy of the All States Edition is generally shared between two to three tax preparers. It is a must have for every office!
